Listen to the story of Chispita (little spark in Spanish), who grows healthy inside Mom’s belly with The Adventures of Chispita Kids Storybook. It will make you go through all sorts of adventures in the Enchanted Forest during nine months. In fact, the purpose of this book has been to inject fantasy and magic to the mysterious world of pregnancy. The book was originally launched in 2021 through Amazon and is now available in Indigo/Chapters and local libraries throughout Western Canada. Additionally, the book is now aiming to be an Animated Series so that reading becomes even more interactive. Turning the allegory of Mom’s belly during pregnancy as something worth reading for kids is not easy but the Chispita does it well through illustrations and an interesting storyline.
